Sunshine through my window...

This morning while I was working on my Novel for NaNoWriMo (3,330 words as of this post) the sun was coming in my window... That just makes me extremely happy,I'm not sure why, but it's an automatic mood lifter. An it looks beautiful with my new curtains.

When the sun is shining in my window, I turn off the lights in my room, and get to work writing. If I'm working on a draft, I close my eyes and just type away. I let the words, spelling, and grammar, be what they may. It's amazing how relaxing that can be. It really picked up my mood this morning as I think I might have the onset of a cold.

Another natural inspiration here lately has been the wonderful fall leaves. My mom's boss has a beautiful tree in her yard. It's some kind of Maple, though I'm not sure what kind. Some of the leaves are yellow when they fall, and some are mottled green with orange, sometimes on the same branch.

And over to you...

What natural things inspire you? Or just plain cheer you up? (Pets count too!)

I love that feeling, that feeling when you close your eyes and your fingers just sashay across the keys. It's almost as if it doesn't matter what you are writing - just that you are are writing! What a feeling...
